Farewell program in honour of outgoing Ambassador of Nepal to Myanmar

The Embassy of Nepal in Yangon organized a farewell program in honour of outgoing Ambassador of Nepal to Myanmar, H.E. Mr. Paras Ghimire and his spouse Mrs. Prabina Ghimire who successfully completed his four year tenure (June, 2012 to June, 2016) at the Embassy premises on 23 August 2016.

In the program representatives of office bearers’ of the All Myanmar Gorkha (Hindu) Religious Association and its Yangon Unit and other Departments: Women Department, Youth Department, Education Department, Culture Department, Student Department etc. and Nepali Officials working for the United Nations and its Specialized Agencies, INGOs, NRN NCC of Myanmar etc. delivered brief words of farewell and greetings to the outgoing Ambassador, wishing him happy, healthy, productive and successful days ahead. After the short event of handing over of the gift items by the said representatives to the outgoing Ambassador, the program concluded with his speech. Nearly 100 persons were present at the program.
